Transitioning Your Skincare Routine From Summer To Fall

Fall is upon us in the western hemisphere which can mean a lot of things… pumpkin spice everything, a time to switch out your wardrobe, back to school, and for me, it means celebrating my birthday. But it also means transitioning my skincare routine from summer to fall. In the summer, it is always a great time to test out new products and see how your skin takes to them. The humidity in the summer often increases the skin’s moisture level, which is why products containing lighter oils and ingredients that don’t clog your pores are key.

With the turning of the season, the skin’s hydration levels change and many skin conditions are linked to temperature and humidity. Fall can be known for unpredictable weather but also dryer air. If you want to be proactive, transitioning your skincare routine with this in mind equals more hydration, thicker creams and rich body butters. Here at Twenty20 Skincare, we recommend our line of Shea Body Butters.

One of the benefits of using Shea Body Butter is that it helps to seal in moisture while not clogging your pores which is especially important in the colder months. So, as you transition your skincare routine from summer to fall you want to be sure to use moisture sealing products to keep your summer glow all year long.

Personally, I love using the Eucalyptus Mint Shea Body Butter. Shea Butter itself is rich in antioxidants to help combat the effect of pollution on our skin and the fresh eucalyptus scent really opens your senses. I used to have really dry skin, I had eczema on my skin and especially towards the end of the year it was really bad. With a desire to minimize those skin irritations, I’ve found switching out to a thick body butter does wonders. I love using it in the fall and winter especially after a warm shower. You rub it into your skin and it melts in and seals in moisture all day long. Another thing I love about the Shea Body Butter is that it is multi-purpose, meaning you can use it on your body, face and hair. This just means moisture from head to toe. So as you consider transitioning your skincare routine from summer to fall, consider adding these products to your cart.

While you’re at it, this week on Thursday, in celebration of my birthday we will be giving away a free gift with purchase! On September 23rd 2021, if you make a purchase,  you will get a gift just as a way for us to say thanks you for your support and for being a part of this journey.
