About Us

My name is Elena Minnow and I’m passionate about all natural skincare because it works! After spending years trying to find a product that would work on my dry and eczema prone skin, I visited my grandmother’s home town in Ghana.

It was there that I discovered Shea Butter and how my family has been using it for years for their skin, hair and so many other things. As a result, when I returned back home to Canada, I started making my own shea butter products in my kitchen, in 2013.

And now, I am sharing it with the world! Twenty20 Skincare™ is my vision for clear and simple products that are safe for our health and the earth. Each and every product is handmade with fair trade Shea Butter from Northern Ghana.

I love the scent and the Sweet Orange essential oil carries so many benefits for the mind and body

Ethically Sourced

We value finding sustainable ways to access and share secrets of the motherland to the entire world through our products. Our Shea Butter is bought at fair trade prices enables the women working in the shea supply chain to improve their working and living conditions. We take care to source all our ingredients locally, whenever possible and they are never tested on animals.

Natural Ingredients

Every Twenty20 Skincare™ product is free from: artificial preservatives, synthetic ingredients, perfumes and toxins. Made with simple ingredients you could literally eat (we don't recommend digesting our products but don't panic if you do). We strive to make sure our ingredients lists are short, simple and transparent. That’s a promise we’ll keep.

Sustainably Made

Minimizing our impact on the earth means we recycle and reuse items where possible – including packing material. Did you know that our Shea Butter jars are 100% recyclable? The glass and aluminum can both be recycled through your local recycling programs or in your kitchen pantry! Our raw Shea Butter comes from Ghana but the process in which it is extracted is kind to the environment and sustainable.
